Ages 13+: Halloween Dance - Ups and Downs

Planning for our annual Halloween Dance-a-thon fundraiser is well under way! The funds raised from this event will provide students with performances, buses for excursions, and gymnasium upgrades to help create a safer space for our students and enrich their learning experience at Earl Haig PS. This will only be possible if we work together – so we need your help!

What can you do?

1. DONATE PRIZES

Thank you to everyone who has already donated prizes!!! We still need more items for our student prize raffle, such as sports equipment (balls, scooter, bike), art supplies, movie tickets, activities and games, gift cards, etc.! These prizes will provide an extra incentive for students to get excited about the event and ask for pledges. Please drop off any prizes to the school office by Friday, October 25th so we will have time to organise them before the Dance-a-thon.

Every $10 collected in pledges equals one ticket entry into the prize raffle. More money raised = more raffle tickets = more chances to win a prize! 

2. COLLECT PLEDGES & MAKE YOUR PAYMENT ON SCHOOLCASH ONLINE

Once you have collected all your pledges, go online to SchoolCash Online to make your contribution by Friday, October 25th.

How to make the pledge online:

  • Parents who are registered on SchoolCash Online will need to submit pledges by making a donation
  • Once logged in you will see the below screen where you can select payment by student or you may make a donation by selecting the ‘Make a Donation’ tab on the top right. You can go in multiple times to add to your pledge funds.
  • Once you click ‘Make a Donation’ you will be brought to the below screen where you can select the School ‘Earl Haig PS’ and the initiative.
  • If the initiative that you would like to donate to is not set up, please leave as general and enter the information for the donation in the ‘message’ field
  • If you have not already registered please use this link to register now: https://tdsb.schoolcashonline.com/Registration/Profile

3. RETURN YOUR CHILD’S PLEDGE FORM TO THE SCHOOL
IMPORTANT! Please make sure your child’s name is printed on their green pledge form (use a separate sheet per student please) and return all pledge sheets by Friday, October 25th so we will have time to prepare prize raffle tickets for students who have collected pledges.

Reminder: DO NOT send cash or cheques to the school. All monies raised must be sent to Earl Haig using SchoolCash Online.
