Meet Updates

Dear: Parents and Caregivers,

Race Day is Wednesday, October 7th, 2026!
EMA must be signed to attend this race. No further docs are required
Please arrive at the Earl Haig gym at 7:45am to sign-in for attendance, pick up your jersey and get ready to load the buses
Buses will depart at 9:30 am from Earl Haig
If your child has Earl Haig Spirit Wear, they should wear that t-shirt for the race
If you are driving your child to the race, please come and check-in for attendance purposes and to get a jersey, then checkout with teachers in charge
Grade 3 to 8 get a race bib for chip timing – Grade 1 and 2s do not (Fun Run)
Please pack a lunch and plenty of snacks and water, and proper running gear
We will NOT be back for Hot Lunch on Wednesday
If you are attending the race, please do not take your child after the race until you have checked out with a teacher in charge
Race time process at Sunnybrook: Each grade/ gender will warm up as a group, walk to the start line, complete the race, meet up at the finish line as a group, and then go back to the tents

We are also asking for financial support for the buses and race bibs this year. At this point we have 170 students on our team!!! Super awesome participation from our student population. A contribution of 5 dollars or more would be greatly appreciated to help pay for the buses and race bibs
