Earl Haig Public School is a Junior Kindergarten to Grade 8 public school located at 15 Earl Haig Avenue, Toronto, ON / (416) 393-1640.
The school is named for Douglas Haig, 1st Earl Haig, (1861–1928) who commanded the British Expeditionary Force during World War I. He was commander during the Battle of the Somme, the 3rd battle at Ypres, and a number of victories leading to armistice in 1918.
Today, Earl Haig is a vibrant and thriving public school in the east end of Toronto. The dedicated staff work closely with the parents and school community members to enable and support all of the students to reach high levels of achievement and to acquire the knowledge, skills and the values they need to become responsible members of our democratic society.
