Pumpkin Patch Tally

Thank you to everyone that helped to make this event a success! From the team of volunteers who baked delicious treats, to those who were up bright and early to help unload and sell pumpkins, and to all who supported this event with your purhases – Thank you!

Together we raised over $1500!

If you didn’t get a chance to purchase a pumpkin you are in luck as there are a few left over. Please email earlhaigschoolcouncil@gmail.com to make arrangements.

Mark your calendars – it’s back! The Earl Haig Holiday Hullabaloo!

We are excited to share the return of the Earl Haig Holiday Hullabaloo!

Mark your calendars for Friday December 1st @ 7:30pm. The event will take place at the Royal Canadian Legion at 243 Coxwell Avenue.

What’s the Holiday Hullabaloo?

Join us for a fun night out with the adults of the Earl Haig School Community. Look forward to lots of silent auction items, cocktails, appetizers, and entertainment. Best of all? A chance to get to know your “classmates” and raise funds that will directly benefit the students of Earl Haig PS.

Interested in donating to the auction?

No item is too small – if you have new items (or talents) that will help us reach our auction goals, Chris Little would love to hear from you at chrislittle71@gmail.com. Any re-gifting secrets are safe with him!

Interested in volunteering?

Want to join the A-team that’s making the Hullabaloo happen? Visit our Volunteer SignUp page!

OK, sounds amazing – How do I get tickets?

Easy! Tickets are $15 in advance and can be purchased online here,  in-person at our Pumpkin Patch event this Thursday, or by contacting Hilary at hmckgray@gmail.com. Tickets can also be bought for $20 at the door the night of the event.

The Pumpkin Patch

The air is getting a little chilly, leaves are changing colours, and we’re gearing up for our annual Earl Haig School Council Pumpkin Patch! It’s our first fundraiser of the year and it’s going to be a good one.

Join us in the Kindergarten play yard on Thursday, October 26th, where you may buy a large pumpkin, snag some delicious baked goods for home (or to bring to work to take the cake as favourite coworker for the day!), and start your day off right with a FREE cup of hot coffee. The pumpkin patch opens at 7:30 am – be sure to come early so you don’t miss out (last year we sold out!).

Pumpkins are $7 each and may be left in the Kindergarten yard labelled with your name for you to transport home at the end of the day.

Interested in helping out? We are looking for bakers to donate a breakfast-friendly baked good (muffins, scones, loaves – no nuts, please!) on the morning of the sale or the day before to the office. We also need help unloading the pumpkins first thing in the morning and sales help during the event. To volunteer to unload pumpkins, or assist with sales please sign up here or email us at earlhaigschoolcouncil@gmail.com.

See you there!
