Tomorrow Friday the 13th don’t be afraid – join the school advisory advisory council for a cup of coffee and some pre-holiday well wishes.

We will also be collecting some ‘holiday cheer’ for our amazing lunch and snack chefs, Silvia and Shazia if you would like to contribute. See you in the school’s lobby!

Reminder: Tomorrow is the last day to support Community Centre 55‘s Share a Christmas programme. Drop off packaged food, winter accessories, an unwrapped gift for teenaged children or pet supplies. Your support is much appreciated.

 

Put away those lunch boxes, our next Pizza Lunch is taking place this Friday! If you haven’t pre-ordered yet, be sure to get your order in before Wednesday. Ordering always closes two days before pizza day.

Sign up and pay online via Munch a Lunch. Choose from cheese or pepperoni pizza ($2.50 per slice), gluten free and dairy free pizza ($3.00 per slice), and don’t forget you can order juice boxes ($1.00 each), too!

Reminder: for children in the before-and-after care at Earl Haig, please be sure to select their lunchroom teacher and room from the drop-down list instead of their classroom teacher.

If you aren’t able to order by credit card online just send an email to Polly and she will help make other arrangements.

Holiday Concerts at Earl Haig

Earl Haig Holiday Concerts are coming up soon. Here are the details you need to know:

PRIMARY GRADES: Wednesday, December 11th, at 7:00pm at Monarch Park Collegiate Auditorium (**Note new location for this concert**). Performers include: Earl Haig Singers, Whole Notes Club, Rooms: Portable 1, Portable 2, 9, 10, 15, 17, 18, 19, 20, 22 & 23

KINDERGARTEN: Thursday, December 19th, at 6:30pm at Earl Haig Gym.

Looking ahead…. the Junior/Intermediate Spring Concert will be held on May 21, 2020 at 7:00pm.

Win premium holiday concert seats TONIGHT!

We will be holding a raffle for premium concert seats for BOTH upcoming holiday concerts at our Toy Story 4 Movie Night tonight! Tickets will be $2 each (or get 6 for $10 / 15 for $20) **Raffle tickets are CASH ONLY.

Remember, Earl Haig is an Eco certified school — please bring your own reusable water bottle for the show.

As in previous years, Earl Haig will be supporting Community Centre 55’s Annual Share a Christmas Programme. Please consider supporting the programme in one of the following ways:

The Annual Food Drive: Please send pre-packaged foods in boxes, tins or bottles.

Teen Angel Programme: Teenaged children often get missed in our enthusiasm to give to the very young. We hear that gift cards are high on the wishlist of teens!

Pet Lover’s Programme: Four legged, furry family members need our support too! Pet food, treats and toys are greatly appreciated by pet owners in need.

Decorate our Mitten Tree: Let’s help keep our neighbours comfy and cozy by donating NEW mittens, gloves, hats and scarves.

Donations will be accepted until Friday, December 13th.
