Earl Haig Junior Public School is fundraising for a 2026 schoolyard renovation. Our school yard will be transformed into an exciting new space for students to learn, play, and grow. Thanks to the School Board’s commitment, the northwest field will be fully resurfaced with updated play areas, and features like a bike rack, baseball backstop, funnel ball, triple hoop, sand play pit, and mud kitchen. But that’s just the beginning — with the help of parent and community fundraising, we have the opportunity to add even more: a second field, an outdoor classroom, new seating, updated play structures, harvest and games tables, a stage area, and colourful play zones that will make our yard a place where every student can thrive. Most importantly, we need your support to fundraise for the renewal of the larger southeast field into a brand-new astroturf soccer field, giving our students a safe and modern space to play for years to come.

• The Schoolyard Renewal Project is happening in 2026
• The School Board is committed to Zone 2 & 3 (with some upgrades dependent on fundraising)
• The School Board will complete Zone 4 with the help of fundraising
• The School Board will be providing resurfacing, turf field on the east side, basic line painting (white), sand play pit and mud kitchen, bike rack, new trees planted, baseball backstop, new track surface, funnel ball, triple hoop, etc.
• We are fundraising for an additional field, outdoor classroom, seating throughout yard, updated play structures, stage area and seating, harvest tables, games tables, agility trail painting in colour, etc.
