Due to the current school closures, our students missed three pizza lunches (April, May, and June). As a result, anyone who pre-ordered lunch for these months has a credit in their MunchaLunch account, which will be available to use in the 2020-2021 school year.
Some people, however, have asked if this money could be donated to families in our community who are experiencing food insecurity. As such, we have created a “fundraiser” in MunchaLunch where parents/guardians can choose to direct unused funds to the food bank. *This is optional. If you do nothing, the money will be applied to your account for the 2020-2021 school year instead.* If you choose to donate all or part of your MunchaLunch credit to a local food bank, please log in and click on “Fundraising Open!” There are a variety of dollar-value menu options that you can put in your cart to create a total donation if you wish to direct funds to food banks.
The fundraising option will be open until June 26, 2020. The MunchaLunch software will be shutting down for maintenance over the summer, and therefore the option to redirect funds is set to a strict deadline. If you have any questions, please contact Polly.
