Pumpkin Patch!

We hope our Earl Haig school community had a fun and full Thanksgiving weekend! With our sights now set on Halloween, we are here to make it easy as pie with our upcoming Pumpkin Patch!

On Friday, October 25th, our Kindergarten play yard will be turned into a pumpkin patch with pumpkins of various sizes ($7 each), yummy baked goods for sale, FREE coffee, and jars of honey up for grabs, too! Pay for your pumpkin in the morning and pick it up at the end of the school day. *Please note, the event is cash only*

As always, to make our pumpkin patch a smashing success, we need your help! Sign up here to volunteer at the event or carve out some time beforehand to whip up something yummy for our bake sale.

All money raised helps fund school and education initiatives for Earl Haig students.

Walk IN for Public Education Tomorrow!

Our Walk for Public Education is happening tomorrow! Please join us at 8:10 in front of the school and send the message that there is strong demand for a fully-funded, high quality public education system for ALL!

Education workers had a big win over the weekend, but there are still many cuts to our education system that hurt Ontario’s students (including increased class sizes, cuts to community programming, the cancellation of the indigenous curriculum project, mandatory e-learning, etc.)

We will gather outside Earl Haig at 8:10am and then march out to Coxwell Ave, up Coxwell Ave, and along the Danforth. Bring noisemakers or a sign and wear Red for Ed! We’ll be back at the school by 8:40am in time for staff to ‘walk in’ to work.

Together we can make a difference for our kids, schools, and our education workers.

Hope to see you there!
