I know – you must be thinking, there’s no way they want to start planning the June Spring Fair in November, can they? But actually, we do! Last year’s event was a great re-start for our annual tradition – and we learned a lot in a very short time about many things we could and should do better for 2024!

The first thing we learned is that we need to start planning MUCH earlier. Did you know that almost all corporations and organizational giving is planned by January for the entire year ahead? We need a team on the ground right now reaching out and pulling together the community to ensure next year’s event is even bigger and better.

We’re looking for people to lead various areas: 
– Communications
– Sponsorships
– Donations
– Food & Beverages
– Games & Activities
– Many more ways to help!

SAC would like to invite all parents, caregivers, and Earl Haig community members that would like to help organise the 2024 Spring Fair to a sub-committee kick off meeting this Thursday, November 16th, 2024 at 7pm on Zoom. Please reach out to earlhaigschoolcouncil@gmail.com for Zoom details!

All orders placed by the November 16th deadline (with the exception of pajama pants) will be delivered to Earl Haig by December 22nd before the school closes for Winter Break.

The Earl Haig SAC is holding their monthly Town Hall this week. All parents and caregivers are encouraged to attend!
Agenda includes an update from the School Admin, funding decisions and discussion from SAC Co-Chairs, and open discussion with the community.
