Recess bags

We are thrilled to share news of a fundraising spend that will help our students get engaged in all that time they’re spending outdoors at school this year.

Last winter (wellllll before the pandemic!) the School Advisory Council agreed to fund Recess Bags to give students more engaging ways to play (especially as we wait for our Play EH project to finally get shovels in the ground).

The bags will include: grade-level sized soccer balls and footballs, skipping ropes of different sizes, scoops, and more. Everything will be kept in Ikea bags (for easy cleaning) and everything will be cleaned between classes/uses.

What seemed like a great addition last year, feels instrumental this year. Huge thanks to Mr. Taylor and his team for coordinating these bags!
