Help us make our festival great!
There are lots of ways for you to help make this event a success both before and during the event:
Spread the news: This event is open to the community so tell your friends and family to come for some fun!
Volunteer the day of the event: Volunteers are needed to run events, sell food, set up and take down, and run the games and tables. Email Jen to sign up for a 30 min shift (or two!) the day of the event.
Contribute to Win-A-Jar: – Support our fan-favourite station and fill a jar with new child friendly “loot bag” style items (e.g. packaged treats, Pokemon cards, small toys, craft supplies, beads, magic tricks…. you get the picture). If you’re filling with edibles please make sure the items are in their original packaging.
And in BONUS fun for kids: bring your completed jars to your teacher by Monday, May 27th. The class who brings in the most jars wins a licorice party!
Contribute to the Cake Walk or Bake Sale: If baking is more your thing, whip up something sweet for either of these events – a cake for the Cake Walk or baked treats for the bake sale. All treats must be nut free and can be dropped off at the main office the day of the event. If you want to make the most of the rainy indoor days and get your baking done early you might want to try one of these techniques for freezing your baked treats!
