Bakers, we need you!

Please contribute something yummy to our Pumpkin Patchhappening this Friday! The bake sale table is always a great success, so we’d love to have as many items as possible to accommodate all the lovely humans who want to purchase treats.

Muffins, cookies, whole loafs, anything goes as long as it is nut free (and delicious). We would also really love to be able to have a variety of gluten free or dairy free treats to offer (please label these, if you can).

***Please drop-off your labeled baked goods to the office on Thursday, October 24th.

P.S. Need some ideas, check out this TDSB recipe book.

And a reminder…

October’s School Advisory Council meeting is taking place tonight, at 7PM in the Music Room (we’ll have childcare!). Take a look at the agenda to see what we’ll be chatting about.

Hope to see you there!

October Council Meeting

Please join us on Tuesday, October 22nd from 7pm to 8:30pm in the school Music Room (basement) for our next School Advisory Council meeting. (Need childcare to attend the meeting? We have it!) And remember, you don’t need to be on the council to attend – everyone is welcome!

At the council meeting, you’ll learn about upcoming events, volunteer opportunities, hear updates from Principal Root, and you’re encouraged to share any ideas or suggestions you may have. Check out the full agenda for this month’s meeting.

Do you have any questions for the Principal? Send them his way in advance of the meeting using this quick and easy form.

Hope to see you there!

Pumpkin Patch!

We hope our Earl Haig school community had a fun and full Thanksgiving weekend! With our sights now set on Halloween, we are here to make it easy as pie with our upcoming Pumpkin Patch!

On Friday, October 25th, our Kindergarten play yard will be turned into a pumpkin patch with pumpkins of various sizes ($7 each), yummy baked goods for sale, FREE coffee, and jars of honey up for grabs, too! Pay for your pumpkin in the morning and pick it up at the end of the school day. *Please note, the event is cash only*

As always, to make our pumpkin patch a smashing success, we need your help! Sign up here to volunteer at the event or carve out some time beforehand to whip up something yummy for our bake sale.

All money raised helps fund school and education initiatives for Earl Haig students.
