Congratulations to all the successful bidders for our recent Play EH auction! We raised $5,500 and gave our thermometer a boost to $62,000. Thank you to everyone who participated and helped make this initiative a success!
And the good news keeps coming…TDSB has finalized the cost of our playground revitalization to be $81,000. We are SO close! Let’s all get behind the Spring Festival and organize those Play EH garage sales on June 8th so that our kids can enjoy the new playground in 2020.
Our Spring Festival is just a few weeks away and we are hoping to make it the best one yet. We are SUPERSIZING it with some amazing new stations (Toilet Toss, Superheroes, Silly Shower, Photo Wall and more!) and all the classics, too.
But, we’ll need your help! Please consider volunteering a little of your time during the festival to give our station leads a break so they can enjoy the festival with their families, too. Please take a look at our volunteer sheet here and sign up for an hour or two. If you have any questions, please contact Jen. Thank you for your support!
Did your kids get a kick out of creative hair day, today? If so, please consider volunteering your rad hair stylin’ skills at our Creative Hair Station at the Spring Festival or donating some supplies, like: temporary one-day hair colour (pro tip: the Colour Bomz brand at Sally’s beauty is $6 and works well with all types of hair colour), ribbons, unused bobby pins, hair ties, hairspray and gel (scent free, please!), and fun hair clips. Our station lead has been spending a lot of time on Pinterest so let’s help her nail it!
Our Nail Polish + Glitter Tattoos Station could also use a little help. Donations of nail polish would be greatly appreciated!
Please drop off all donated supplies to the labelled box inside the main office between now and the festival.
Just a reminder that we are collecting “loot bag” style filled jars for our ever-popular Jars raffle. Kids should bring their filled jars to their teachers by Monday, May 27th for a chance to WIN a licorice party for their classroom!

Help us raise money for our school by re-using your jars + filling them up “loot bag” style for our 15th Annual Spring Festival! Bring them to us ahead of the festival and we will raffle them off for $2 each.
Fill your jars with kid-friendly things like:
*Items should be new or in excellent condition + gift cards should be at original value.
Kids: bring your completed jars to your teacher by Monday May 27th. The class who brings in the most jars wins a licorice party!
Have jars to donate but can’t fill ‘em?
Leave them outside the office for others to fill!
